New Free Assembler: write compact and efficient computer programs for Windows and DOS
Another assembler for Windows and DOS has been added to the Free Assemblers and Linkers page. For those who are wondering what "assemblers" are, these are software that computer programmers use to translate a program written in assembly language into a form that can be run on a computer. (Note that if you are a beginner wanting to learn to write computer programs, you will be better off starting with C, C++, BASIC or one of the other high level languages.)
