Isotope is an impressive jQuery plugin that enables us to sort items and create smart layouts.
Using the plugin, any given list of items can be filtered with show/hide effects and they can be re-ordered with slick animations.
The plugin's layout features are very powerful as well. With a simple function, items can be converted into horizontal/vertical layouts or arranged intelligently within a grid and much more. And, all with nice animations.
Isotope’s animation engine takes advantage of the best browser features when available — CSS transitions and transforms, GPU acceleration — but falls back to JavaScript animation when they are not available.

Free Content Management Systems (CMS)
PHP Scripts page is a (free) specialized web comic software lets you manage and maintain your web comic website
from the comfort of your web browser. (You will still need some sort of
drawing/art software to
draw your comics, of course, and you will still need to do the basic step of
setting up a website, but
the actual job of getting your comics to your site and displaying them will be taken care of by the software.)
Gury is a JavaScript library which aims to ease the creation of HTML5/Canvas applications by providing a chain based interface.
Using the library, a canvas tag can be created, resized or styled with only few lines of code.
Also, you can add renderable objects, animate and position them anywhere on the page in a single chained expression.
Gury is currently in alpha status, yet it is very promising (as the demos show) and well documented.

Maki is a free-to-use bookmarklet for creating websites that perfectly match the mock-ups.
Once you have converted a mock-up into a website, just click the bookmarklet and the web page will load inside the Maki application.
The application lets you overlay the mock-up over the website, position it as you wish and change its opacity to make sure the website and the mock-up matches each other.
If they are not pixel-perfect, just make the necessary HTML-CSS changes as much as you want and reload the page within Maki to see if they fit each other or not.

Xdebug is a free and open source PHP extension for debugging and profiling PHP scripts in detail.
Considering it is an extension, the usage is easy and requires very few things to setup in the code-side.
It can provide data on stack traces and function traces in error messages with full parameter display for user defined functions, function name, file name and line indications.
Xdebug can also present the memory allocation, profiling information and code coverage analysis.
And, it has an interface (including extensions for browsers) that interact with running PHP scripts for debugger clients.

zClip is a jQuery plugin for creating a "copy to clipboard" functionality with the help of an invisible Flash Movie.
It is built using the popular Zero Clipboard library + totally compatible with Flash 10 and below.
The library is lightweight (~7kb) and has support for CSS ":hover" + ":active" states.
zClip works by transparently overlaying the Flash movie over an element yet it keeps this targeted element's "click" "mouseenter" and "mouseleave" events.
Also, 2 callback functions: "before copy" and "after copy" allow you handle the requests better.

Treesaver is a JavaScript framework for creating magazine-style layouts that dynamically adapt to a wide variety of browsers and devices.
Both content and design is shaped with standards-compliant HTML + CSS and no JavaScript programming is required.
It simply searches for the <article> tags and displays the content inside them, makes browsing them possible with prev-next buttons and auto-generates a "contents" menu.
The JavaScript is under 25K gzipped (pretty important for mobile) and works with most modern browsers (degrades gracefully for others).
Treesaver is not totally mature yet and works best with simply-formatted text and images.

What is FileVista?
It is a multi-user file manager application that is built with ASP.NET and can be installed on your website.
The application offers a desktop-like experience and supports actions like create, delete, rename, copy, move, zip and unzip files + folders with a totally Ajaxed interface.
With the help of a permission-based access system, groups + users can be created and they can be locked into folders with any defined permissions.
