letoDMS is an easy to use and setup document management system that is built with PHP-MySQL.
It is a simple-yet-powerful application that can store any type of files under folders/categories with an unlimited hierarchy by keeping the versions of them.
Everything is completely web-based including uploads and, optionally, display of documents (if not downloaded). It can even auto-convert MS-Word documents to HTML.
Multiple users can work with the system with no conflicts as there is a lock/unlock mechanism on documents. And, access control lists (ACL) exist for making sure that each user can work with the documents theat they are permitted to.
letoDMS has various other features that simplify its usage like advanced search, themable + multilanguage interface and much more.

By default, Google Analytics doesn't track downloads and requires an event to be attached to each download link.
Entrourage.js lightweight (339 bytes gzipped) JavaScript solution that can automatically add tracking support for downloads.
It is framework agnostic, unobtrusive.and leaves the markup clean without requiring any inline JS usage.
There is also a filter provided which enables us to track only the selected file-types.

A new SSH client (that can also handle SFTP) has been added to the
Free SSH (Secure Shell)
and Telnet Clients page. For those wondering what my previous sentence meant, SSH clients are programs
used by webmasters to connect to their website to perform various maintenance tasks (among other things).

In fluid and responsive designs, it can be challenging to make sure the text -usually titles- behave how we want them to be.
FitText is a simple yet very functional jQuery plugin for making sure a text fits into a defined element.
It auto-updates the font-size in accordance with the width of an element wrapping it and guarantees a non-broken layout (because of the font size) even if the page is displayed from a mobile or desktop browser.
And, there are some options provided for a fine-tune including the ability to set "level of scaling" and mentioning min-max sizes.

Push notifications are an important part of iOS applications as they help keeping the user connected with the application.

Flux Slider is an image slider using CSS3 animations for creating good looking 2D or 3D transitions.
It requires jQuery or Zepto.js, inspired from the transitions of Nivo Slider jQuery plugin and mimics them without using traditional JavaScript-timer-based animations.
Currently, there are 10+ transitions including Bars-Bars3D, Blinds-Blinds3D, Cube, Zip and more.
It can display a pagination and/or prev-next controls for browsing through the items.
Also, there are functions provided for auto-playing the slides and displaying captions with each.
P.S. The slider can be controlled with custom events with its API as well.

Since ever, we create patterns as image files and use them in web pages by simply attaching them to the backgrounds of elements via CSS.
Patternizer, a web-based pattern design application, brings a different approach in how we create and use them.
The application enables us to design a pattern by simply inserting any number of stripes, rotating them and setting their properties like opacity, color, width or offset.
While we are designing the pattern, the application generates a code including the values of variables which can be used with a JS-library provided (patternizer.js) to build that pattern with HTML5 <canvas>. No images used, just a lightweight JavaScript file and few rules.
The method usually ends up in a smaller-sized solution and, best of all, the pattern can be manipulated by simply changing the values.
Also, with a free membership, it is possible to save and share patterns created.
