There are some great metabolic changes initially with this diet. Shredding excess weight improves, such as insulin resistance, high blood pressure, and elevated cholesterol and triglycerides. It is true that fat oxidation does increase due to the body adapting to the higher dietary fat intake. However, fat oxidation and losing body fat are two different processes. When fat oxidation is higher it does not necessarily mean that there will be a reduction in body fat. Overall calorie intake and calorie burn will be the main determinant in fat loss.

- Fish and seafood.
- Low-carb veggies.
- Cheese.
- Avocados.
- poultry.
- Eggs.
- Nuts, seeds and healthful oils.
- Plain Greek yogurt and cottage cheese.
Foods to Avoid:
- Beans, peas, lentils, and peanuts

A ketogenic diet could be an interesting alternative to treat certain conditions, and may accelerate weight loss. But it is hard to follow and it can be heavy on red meat and other fatty, processed, and salty foods that are notoriously unhealthy. Kylie Jenner is promoting CBD-laced ‘Happy Tea.’ What is it?
Everything Kylie Jenner touches turns to gold, and the latest product to earn her Instagram seal of approval is Happy Tea, a CBD-laced drink that promises to relieve anxiety and promote mental health.
The social media star and cosmetics entrepreneur shouted out the tea brand in her Instagram Story this week, solidifying it as the Next Big Thing to take over Insta feeds everywhere.
Happy Tea is a product of Fit Tea, one of the many “teatox” products that have enjoyed widespread Instagram fame thanks to endorsements from the Kardashians, Cardi B and other highly influential Spandex-clad Instagram baddies. (Even former Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin has posted sponsored photos of the stuff.)
However, these “detox teas” have come under scrutiny from health professionals. The US Food and Drug Administration does not regulate the ingredients in diet supplements such as detox teas, which is a big concern for doctors because some of the most popular ingredients, like garcinia cambogia and valerian root, can have serious side effects. Nutrition experts say the teas are essentially “a bunch of herbs” that, at best, will give you a boost via caffeine and, at worst, bless you with an un-photogenic case of explosive diarrhea.
This response to the teatox fad has led some celebrities and influencers to actively campaign against “poop teas” and their legion of contrapposto-posing, tumbler-clutching endorsers.
What’s in Happy Tea, and is it safe?
But anyway, back to Happy Tea. Naturally, two questions arise: Is is safe, and does it work?
Without official regulations or an abundance of clinical evidence, it isn’t really clear.
Happy Tea purports to contain “10mg natural hemp extract,” which is another name for cannabidiol, the non-psychoactive ingredient in hemp and marijuana. A release from the company says the drinks can “help alleviate stress, decrease anxiety, and minimize inflammation.”
According to Fit Tea founder Michael G., he created the drink as a solution for his own anxiety and mental health struggles.
“Many of the blogs and lists read wanted you to see therapists, chant mantras, and do guided meditations to help you stop stressing, ease your mind, and calm your anxiety,” he writes on Happy Tea’s website. “That wasn’t going to work for me. It’s not my personality to try something and HOPE that it would help. I needed something REAL.”
“Real” is a notable word. Although a few studies support CBD’s effectiveness for certain issues, like opioid addiction, there isn’t a whole lot of clinical research on the trendy ingredient.
Thus, Happy Tea’s claims run up against many of the same caveats as its “poop tea” sister. The FDA is scrambling to come up with a regulatory framework for the use of CBD in food, drinks and supplements. Without regulation, makers of CBD products can essentially claim that the substance does almost anything you want it to do. Several times this year, the FDA has had to issue warnings to companies claiming that their CBD products treated serious diseases like cancer and Parkinson’s.
Happy Tea makes no such claims. But in the absence of research and regulation, there’s no confirming what it actually does.

Saif Ali Khan sheds kilos, looks at least 15 years younger!
Saif Ali Khan is currently earning critical acclaim for his role in a currently popular web series. He also has big films lined up in the months ahead. What is also commendable is that despite keeping a busy schedule, Saif Ali Khan has lost oodles of weight and looks younger than ever!
The actor was recently spotted outside the airport with his family and evidently, there is a remarkable difference in his appearance. Our guess? The strict diet Bollywood’s Nawab has been following in the recent months has worked well for him!

However, Saif’s weight loss journey hasn’t been as easy as it sounds. Can you believe that the actor, who has never worked out under a gym trainer in 48 years of his life did all the self-coaching and transformed himself?
Following a no-carb, no-sugar diet
Sugar and carb are the two things you need to moderate for healthy and effective weight loss. The actor followed just this and lost weight. Saif followed a no-sugar, no-carb diet which helped him lose the extra muscular weight easy. He also practiced portion control.
His breakfast included something like oatmeal made with skimmed milk and topped off with some fresh fruits.
He restricted himself to a bowl of seasonal salad during lunchtime and for dinner, he usually had light fillet steak. The actor also generally loves home-cooked food and avoids eating outside.
Workout sessions
To complement his diet and get into shape fast, Saif also depended largely on high-intensity cardio sessions, which he did twice a day. Saif, who loves to experiment also made tweaks to his fitness regime and schedule. He did a mix of cardio, yoga, kickboxing and stretching to stay on top of the fitness game. A tennis player, he also likes to include walking into his everyday routine to stay fit.
The actor, in an interview, mentioned that the weight loss mission was something he personally wanted to do to get into the character’s skin. His character in the show, Sartaj Singh can be seen going through major changes in the second season and he wanted to do justice to the role. Speaking about the transformation, Saif said,
“Even though in the book, Sartaj Singh (the character) is a fit, well-dressed guy, when the series starts, he is in a bad place and is someone who doesn’t really care about what he looks like. So it was fine for him to be a bit overweight. But now that the action is picking up, I thought we should bring him up to what he actually is like — he is eating less and taking more drugs, which would naturally lead to a bit of weight loss and why he’s looking leaner.”
Saif said that his prep for the role was really simple. He ate healthy and worked out regularly. He added, “The physical preparation involved going to the gym and eating right for the role. Playing a Sardar cop, you have to look the part.”
If you look at Saif ‘s career graph, he has been making alterations to his looks. For his film Tanaji, Saif famously gained weight to look bulkier and heftier. For his other film, the actor will be seen in the role of a young dad for which he will soon begin shooting. For this, he will be again altering his look.
