Distraught Rondon pays tribute to injured to McCarthy
West Brom striker Salomon Rondon is devastated after seeing the injury to James McCarthy, who hurt himself as he prevented the forward from shooting.

The 27-year-old was taken off on a stretcher after a tackle on Albion’s Salomon Rondon in the second half.
Rondon in a message to the injured Toffee wrote: “Absolutely devastated. Rivalries are forgotten about when a colleague suffers such an unlucky injury. Neither player was at fault in what was an accidental collision. The Republic of Ireland international McCarthy had just returned from an injury lay-off at the end of December and this was only his third league game of the season.
