Manchester City want Barca midfielder on Guardiola’s request
Manchester City is set to launch a bid for Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets on Pep Guardiola’s order, according to reports in Spanish paper.
Don Balon reported that Guardiola has returned to his former side to see the possibility of signing the Spanish international from the Camp Outfit.
A bid of €67m has been tabled – and immediately thrown out by Barcelona who considered the valuation so low to price away from the midfielder.
Barcelona is only will to do business with Manchester City if the price is right considering the market rates and the titles won by the midfielder since his introduction to European football, The La Liga leaders want an improved offer to listen to negotiation.
Though the Spanish international has been waiting on new contract talks this season with the Barcelona.
