Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) detained dozens of Palestinian farmers from the city of Salfit late Sunday night behind the Apartheid wall.
One of the farmers said that the gate is supposed to be open for farmers to exit around the afternoon prayer time which is around 3:38, but the Israeli soldiers detained them till even after the evening prayer time which is around 7:35.
He added that the occupation forces had set the dates for the opening and closing of the gate but they do not follow their own dates, which normally causes the farmers to be detained for several hours waiting behind the wall.
According to the researcher d. Khalid Maali, the construction of the Apartheid wall, caused heavy damage to the Palestinian agricultural fields, more than 30% of the farmers time is wasted during the process of waiting for the opening and closing of the gates. This is against the UN Security Council Resolution 2334 and against the decision of the Lahai court, and according to the International law the Occupation authorities must offer the farmers a compensation for their losses.

“They contradicted the facts, testimony from other witnesses, and other evidence.”
Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators brought into a trial hearing in March countered claims by Miryam, who attended several KPK questioning sessions in December and January.
In another hearing in April, Miryam revoked all her testimony from the KPK investigation report she had signed.
“I object to the verdict,” the lawmaker of the People’s Conscience Party (Hanura) said after Monday’s hearing, adding that she was considering to appeal.
The sentence was lighter than the prison term of eight years and a Rp 300 million fine demanded by KPK prosecutors.

The Israeli Occupation military government issued orders confiscating Palestinian land near the illegal settlement of Halamish, northwest of Ramallah on Monday.
A member from the anti-settlements committee, Mohammad Tamimi, told the Official News Agency WAFA that the Palestinian farmers from the Nabi Salh village near Ramallah were surprised to find out when they went to their lands to harvest olives that the Israeli army forbid them from entering their own land and they ordered them to go back.
He added that the Israeli Forces gave notices to the Palestinian farmers informing them that their land will be confiscated “for security reasons,” which is the excuse Israel always uses to justify all its illegal acts.
Tamimi said the confiscation of land is clearly intended to expand the illegal settlement of Halamish, which has been growing in area at the expense of area Palestinian villages ever since three Israeli settlers were killed in that settlement by a Palestinian attacker few months ago. He explained that the anti-settlements committee is going to contest this order.
