It applies the music theory to generate scales and chords by names based on interval patterns between notes.
The class can generate scale notes by provided scale name and type,

Cuepoint.js is a jQuery plugin for handling subtitles and creating cue-points in HTML5 video.
It simply works by creating "an array of subtitles with the seconds" that they will be displayed.
And, a setTime event that can be attached to any element helps skipping the media to the second mentioned.
P.S. For subtitle, "for how long a subtitle will be displayed can not be mentioned but this can be accomplished by adding empty subtitles to the array.

Flashmo, a well-known website sharing free Flash files, has recently released new open source Flash resources.
They are all built with AS3, the galleries have touch support on mobile phones and, besides using them, their sources are a good way of improving skills.
One of them is an mp3 player which can display a playlist and play the items one-by-one or it has a "mini" version which can still play multiple songs but doesn't show the playlist.
The list is fed with an XML file that has the info about the song + artist names and the location of the mp3 file (so, files can be located in different folders).
Another resource is a coverflow-like image slider where you can drag (with touch support) and browse through the items.
Every image can point to different URLs and the database is again an XML file.
And, a 3D spiral gallery which is built with Papervision3D and Tweener.
You can drag up/down or left/right to move around thumbnails, use mouse wheel to zoom in/out, double-click on stage to toggle fullscreen.
For a complete customization, settings can be edited from an XML file.
There are also other new resources like 3D curve gallery or 3D touch ring.

Buzz is a powerful JavaScript library for using HTML5 audio element very easily.
It is a standalone library and has a very feature-rich API that can manage every feature the audio element offers.
Besides controlling the main actions like play, pause, stop or volume controls, the advanced features like looping or getting the duration of the audio are just one function away.
Buzz has many functions to get info about the audio, the capabilities of the browser (if the given media type is supported or not) and extras like fadeIn/fadeOut for the sound.
The library provides a solution to group sounds and many methods to control them which is great for handling multiple audio files at the same time.
And, a set of events like ended, error or volumechange eases knowing what exactly is the status of the media and acting accordingly.
