Bookmarklets are amazing little helpers whether you are a web designer/developer or a standard internet user. There is a handy one for everybody.
For ex, lately, I am regularly using Holmes.css as a part of my HTML debugging process, Syntaclet on dev-related articles and Readability for reading long articles.
And, there are many other useful bookmarklets out there (check out 15 Must-Have Bookmarklets For Web Designers And Developers).
Boo.kmarked is a very simple and free to use web application that converts any given JavaScript into a bookmarklet.
The application just adds the <a> tag with a function that calls your script accordingly and that's all.
P.S. There are also other alternatives like Bookmarkleter or Bookmarklet maker.

CodeIgniter is a powerful framework for creating PHP web apps much faster. Bonfire, a solid base for the framework, makes the process even speedier.
It is a set of tools (like a ready-to-use user management system, e-mail queue, database backup), all built inside an elegant and customizable UI.
The codebase is completely modular and built around HMVC (Hierarchical-Model-View-Controller pattern).
Bonfire has a flexible template/theme system which is capable of WordPress-like parent/child themes.
Also, it comes with several other handy features like extending the CodeIgniter profiler.

It seems like just yesterday that we released WordPress 3.1, but it’s actually been almost three months. We’ve spent that time putting together a new release focused on performance improvements, and are ready for our first beta testers!
As always, this is software still in development and we don’t recommend that you run it on a production site — set up a test site just to play with the new version. If you break it (find a bug), please report it, and if you’re a developer, try to help us fix it.
If all goes well, we hope to release WordPress 3.2 by the end of June, though that is (again, as always) subject to change depending on how the beta period goes. The more help we get with testing and fixing bugs, the sooner we will be able to release the final version. If you want to be a beta tester, you should check out the Codex article on how to report bugs.
Here’s some of what’s new:
Remember, if you find something you think is a bug, report it! You can bring it up in the alpha/beta forum, you can email it to the wp-testers list, or if you’ve confirmed that other people are experiencing the same bug, you can report it on the WordPress Core Trac. (I recommend starting in the forum or on the mailing list.)
Theme and plugin authors, if you haven’t been following the 3.2 development cycle, please start now so that you can update your themes and plugins to be compatible with the newest version of WordPress.
Note to developers: WordPress is built by the contributions of hundreds of developers. If you’d like to see this release come out on time, I encourage you to pitch in. Even if you don’t have time to do testing on the beta version, you could help us by contributing a fix for one of the many bugs we already know about.
Kaiten is an impressive jQuery plugin for creating a flexible, simplistic and powerful browsing experience.
It helps quickly-building a column-based interface where each column can be a part of a sequence (like a breadcrumb navigation) and resized by the end-user.
The interface auto-arranges itself according to the browser-width by changing the number of the columns displayed. Simply, it will perform nicely on mobile and tablet browsers.
Kaiten can be extended very easily with its API. The plugin is also well-documented and comes with a demo that shows its features.
The plugin is included in a new web app platform named Officity and in alpha stage (yet very promising).
