Modern Open Source Encryption Software
A modern open source elliptic curve public key encryption program has been added to the Free Encryption / Cryptographic Software page. Such programs are usually used to encrypt email. For those who are not interested in encrypting email, the page also lists other types of encryption programs, such as those that can secure your hard disk so that even if (say) your computer is stolen, your customer data, credit card numbers, online passwords, etc, will (hopefully) be unreadable to the thieves.
